The City of Swan has created an Economic Development Strategy to guide the City, it's partners and stakeholders to support the growth and prosperity of the economy and the wellbeing of the community.
The strategy is based on the Western Australian Local Government Association's best practice model – the Economic Development Framework.
Structure of the Economic Development Strategy
The EDS is designed to:
- Explain its link to the three economic objectives in the City's Strategic Community Plan
- Provide a snapshot of the City's economy, including its seven economic locations
- Outline the City's approach to each economic objective
- Identify key strategic directions for each approach
- Identify how success will be measured.
