Greenfield Park Playground Extension

The Caversham community have requested nature play area in Greenfield Park with a range of equipment for a wider age bracket than the current playground.

We consulted with the community on a possible playground design at Greenfield Park and received feedback on the respondents favourite equipment.

The finalised design is included in the document library on this webpage, and is due for construction on July 15, 2024 (works will be substantially completed within ten (10) weeks of commencement) .

FAQs

We consulted with the community in April 2023 and had support for an extension of the playground, with feedback on the types of play equipment that are most preferred. The construction for this project will start in July 2024.

The budgeted allocation is for a play area and trees. Additional facilities have not been accounted for.

Construction Commencing

Last year you spent some time providing us with your online feedback about the Greenfield Park playground extension Concept Design.

All feedback was reviewed and taken into consideration when designing the final concept.

Construction is due to commence in two weeks time, on July 15, 2024, with works to be substantially completed within ten (10) weeks of commencement.
