Public Art at Kingfisher Oval

As a part of playground renewal we will be installing public art to make the play area visually appealing, culturally diverse and bring celebration to the community. 

Based on the ideas provided by the community the most common trends and themes will be included in the brief prepared for potential artists to apply and submit their designs. 

The public art piece is expected to be installed in 2024.

A brief will be advertised for any artist to submit an expression of interest. Expressions of interest are then shortlisted by an art selection panel which consists of a community representative, project manager and professional artist.
